I was so excited to be featured on Stanford Web Services blog as a “Sites Superstar!” Stanford is a leader in the Drupal community, utilizing the open source platform for many of the university’s major websites. The Web Services team offer up themes and modules that they dub as “Sites” for Stanford departments to use for their own purposes. At my job at Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies, we have 14 different programs that need to have some major TLC to their websites. While we are working on having them revamped by a design firm, we needed an interim fix for our web presence. I used the Stanford Sites template to get started, and then really got into Drupal configuring content types, managing Display Suites, and working the CSS Injector to make a site that I felt proud of and could show off our array of programs and make sense to the user. It was so exciting to be recognized by the Stanford community for my work!
